Assign work and keep every project moving
Capture tasks for yourself or your crew, set due dates and assignees, and track them on a board or list. One company-wide board pulls every task together — with the project labeled on each card — so nothing slips between jobs.
Assign work with a due date
Give any task a title, a due date, and one or more assignees from your team. Their initials show on the card so everyone knows who owns it.
Board or list, your call
Drag cards across Incomplete, In Progress, and Complete on the Kanban board — or work a flat checklist in list view. Your choice is remembered.
One board across every project
The company-wide board gathers every task you can see, with the project labeled on each card, so loose ends never hide inside a single job.
Every task, every project, one board
Your org-wide Tasks board pulls in everything you can see — your own personal tasks and tasks from every project — and labels each card with its project. Each project also has its own Tasks tab when you want to zoom into one project. Tasks stay internal to your team; clients and vendors never see them.
Drag a card or tick a box
Switch between a Kanban board and a flat checklist from the toolbar. On the board, drag a card into another column to change its status; in list view, tick a row to complete it. Add your own status columns and colors to match how your crew works — Incomplete and Complete stay as fixed anchors.
Sequence work so nothing starts early
Link work so the order is clear — drywall can't start until framing finishes. Foreman supports the standard dependency relationships with lead and lag time, so your plan reflects how the job really sequences.
How it works
Three steps. That's it.
Add a task
From the Tasks board or a project's Tasks tab, click Add task. Enter a title, set a due date, and pick a status.
Assign it to your team
Choose one or more teammates as assignees. Their initials land on the card so responsibility is never ambiguous.
Work the board
Drag cards between columns as work moves, or tick rows off in list view. The company-wide board keeps every project in view.
