Hide features you don't use

Turn off Daily Logs, Tasks & Schedule, Time Clock, or Selections for your whole company, so your team only sees the parts of Foreman they actually work in.

Not every company runs a time clock or sells selections. Feature visibility lets you hide the parts of Foreman your business doesn't use, so your crew isn't scrolling past tabs that will always be empty.

Note

Hiding a feature changes what people see — it never deletes anything. Turn one back on and every log, task, time entry, and selection is exactly where you left it.

Turn a feature off

  1. From the sidebar, open Projects — then go to Organization from your account menu, and choose the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll to Feature visibility.
  3. Switch off any feature your company doesn't use:
    • Show Daily Logs — field notes, weather, and photo logs.
    • Show Tasks & Schedule — the task board and the work schedule.
    • Show Time Clock & Time Entries — labor hours, member rates, and approvals.
    • Show Selections — client-facing fixture and finish choices.
  4. Click Save changes in the bar at the bottom.

The feature disappears for everyone in your organization — the sidebar item, the tab on every project, and the assistant's ability to work with it. Your team sees the change the next time their session refreshes; they don't need to sign out.

Don’t see this?

Only the organization owner sees this section. Admins can manage everything that stays switched on, but turning a feature off for the whole company is the owner's call.

Turn it back on

Flip the same switch back and click Save changes. Everything returns — the tab, the sidebar item, and all of the data that was there before.

What you can't hide

Projects, Budget, Records, Contacts, Files, and your team and billing settings are always on. They're the parts every other feature is built on, so hiding one wouldn't simplify Foreman — it would break it.

Messaging stays on too, because your clients and vendors reply to agreements and invoices through it.
