Add & remove members
Invite teammates to your organization, manage their seat, and remove them when they move on — all from the Members tab.
Members are the people on your own team who log in to Foreman. Each one takes a seat. Clients and vendors are different — they reach their portals for free and never use a seat.
Open the Members tab
- From the sidebar, click Organization.
- Click the Members tab.
The list shows everyone with access, in two groups: your Internal teammates and your Client and Vendor users. Use the search box and the All Types filter to narrow it down.

Invite a member
- On the Members tab, click Invite.
- In the Invite team member window, enter the person's Email.
- Pick a Role — this sets what they can see and do. See Roles & permissions for what each role covers.
- Click Send invite.
They'll get an email with a link to set a password (or sign in) and join your organization. Until they accept, they appear in the list as Pending.
Note
If you're out of seats
If your team is full, the button changes instead of opening the invite window:
- Add more seats — opens billing so you can buy another seat, then come back and invite. See Billing & seats.
- Subscribe — shown while you're on a free trial or canceled; start your subscription first.
Revoke a pending invitation
If someone hasn't accepted yet and you want to pull the invite back:
- Find the Pending row in the list.
- Click the revoke icon at the right of the row.
- Confirm Revoke.
The seat that invitation was holding frees up immediately.
Remove a member
- Click the member's row to open their panel.
- At the bottom, click Remove from team.
- Confirm Remove.
They lose access right away, and their seat frees up.
